Description Administrative Office Assistant/Weighmaster – General Duties We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Office Assistant/Weighmaster to join our dynamic team. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our office and quarry activities by providing essential administrative support. The ideal candidate will excel in multitasking, communication, and organization. Key Responsibilities Weighmaster Duties + Issue weight certificates for sand, gravel, dirt, concrete, and asphalt. + Maintain up-to-date records for truck license numbers and tare weights. + Complete and submit daily scale reports. + Verify customer account statuses and assist the credit department with maintaining accurate records. + Process sales transactions, including cash and credit card payments. + Coordinate staffing schedules with management during high-volume days. Administrative Office Assistant Duties + Professionally answer and direct phone calls in a courteous manner. + Provide administrative support to other departments and team members as needed. + Assist with coordinating office projects and completing general administrative tasks. + Maintain and organize records storage. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). + Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. + Meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. + Strong interpersonal skills and a team-focused mindset. + Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. + Strong customer service skills (experience in customer-facing roles is a plus). + Construction industry experience is a plus. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (bilingual in Spanish is a plus). + Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (higher education is a plus).
