ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Position Summary Full-Time Day Shift $19.62 - $30.41

Provides secretarial and administrative support services to Affiliate Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Director, and Nurse Managers as assigned. Functions as a team member to promote effective communication with all hospital departments. Demonstrate ability to develop and manage policies for the department including tracking of historical documents. Demonstrates ability to develop projects with minimal assistance. Demonstrates initiative to take on additional projects and support other members of the Nursing Administration Department to manage periods of high activity. Works continuously to provide patients with a great experience during hospital visit. Performs other related work as required or requested.

Required Experience

Education:

·       High School diploma required.

·        Office Administration courses preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registry:

·       N/A

Experience:

·       Previous clerical and receptionist’s skills preferred. 

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

·       Demonstrates ability to organize and manage functions of an office including use of computer and other office equipment.  Ability to take minutes utilizing medical terminology. 

·       Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, solid communication skills both written and verbal, demonstrates skills in telephone etiquette, exhibits customer service skills, demonstrates initiative to complete work with minimal supervision, ability to work under pressure and multitask. 

·       Neat, well-groomed appearance and have a pleasant personality and voice. 

·       Previous clerical and receptionist’s skills preferred.
