About the Role Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of clerical functions and responsibilities to support the day-to-day function of the Pharmacy. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Duties/Responsibilities: Demonstrates a commitment to a high degree of customer service and quality of work Develop and maintain the filing system for physician/medication orders faxed/or called into the pharmacy Match incoming invoices with packing slips for billing Mail account invoices and file copies appropriately File/organize delivery/packing receipts brought back to pharmacy by Delivery Specialist Copy, post, total and file incoming checks Sort mail, order all office supplies and distribute Update weekly payroll report by adjusting employee shifts Prepare work schedule for pharmacy technicians, data entry and fill technicians Oversee tracking of timeliness of deliveries Organize and file delivery/packing receipts Remove orders/delivery receipts from the file cabinet and file in the appropriate storage box monthly Serve as clerical support for office management and employees. Always maintains confidentiality in dealing with all clients and company information Does not inappropriately access, listen to, or distribute any sensitive information Performs duties and responsibilities according to the philosophy and standards of SelectRx including conveying courtesy, respect, enthusiasm and positive attitudes in work situations with clients, peers and visitors; maintains client and associate confidentiality. The individual is responsible for understanding all the applicable policies and procedures of the department necessary to perform essential job functions as well as the employee handbook. The position may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those stated in this description as directed by the Managing Pharmacist Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to work independently Workable knowledge of the pharmacy business and medical terminology Understanding of filing, date entry, and office equipment needs and resources Typing skills of at least 60 wpm Demonstrates appropriate written and oral communication skills High degree of interpersonal and organizational skills Strong team player Understand and maintain confidentiality regarding patient medications and illnesses (HIPAA) Keep track of multiple tasks Attention to detail and accuracy Reliable, outgoing and highly effective at relating to others A professional attitude is a must Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, associates, clients, and general public Education and Experience: Requires an associate’s degree or its equivalent At Least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Base Salary Minimum $38,000 Base Salary Maximum $48,000
