Organization and Administration – Be the Key to our Team’s Efficiency As the Administrative Assistant, you will support the departments daily operations, ensuring smooth administrative coordination and communication. You will handle a variety of tasks, including scheduling, document preparation, correspondence, and assisting with project coordination to help the team stay organized and efficient. Led by the Director, IT Store Systems, this opportunity suits a detail-oriented professional with excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Please note this is a 14-month term role. Ready to make an impact in a new role? Here’s how: Assist the department in daily office activities.Process invoices for equipment, consumables, and software licenses for internal departmental expenses.Manage internal license renewals and billing.Coordination of department order forms and license agreements.Prepare and send Dealer communications for IT Store Systems products and updates.Maintain links and department information on department Wiki.Manage department documentation and department page in Connect and assist with webinar creations.Assist with TimeZone reporting and department timesheet reconciliation.Assist with the administration and coordination of internal software releases.We’re looking for: Three to five years of administrative experience within a corporate environment, preferably in a fast-paced or dynamic setting.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with proficient keyboarding skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette and business correspondence.High level of accuracy and attention to detail in document preparation and task execution.Ability to anticipate needs, troubleshoot challenges, and proactively offer solutions in a professional manner.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities, to meet tight deadlines.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.How we’ll make you feel at HomeOur Team Members enjoy life at Home with our strong culture of support and inclusion, excellent benefits, and a team that always has your back.
