Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to promote and maintain a safe work environment while providing comprehensive administrative support. This role involves processing, tracking, and coordinating staff timesheets and procurement card reports, as well as various office duties such as maintaining office supplies, coordinating meetings and events, managing travel arrangements, coordinating office relocations, and handling project correspondence.
ResponsibilitiesProcess, track, and coordinate the completion of staff timesheets and procurement card reports.Maintain and promote a safe work environment.Perform various administrative office duties, including maintaining office supplies and coordinating meetings and events.Manage travel arrangements and coordinate office relocations.Create and track project correspondence.Provide administrative support to the Upper Coosa River System, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements.Handle telephone inquiries and type miscellaneous correspondence.Maintain electronic and general files and order supplies.Assist with meeting notes and perform miscellaneous assignments as directed.Essential SkillsExperience in a clerical/administrative support role.Experience within a customer-oriented environment.Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task.Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent time management skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures is preferred.Self-motivated, dependable, and responsive.Excellent interpersonal skills to be an active team player.Strong work ethic and ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to adjust easily to changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude.Demonstrate behaviors consistent with values of Safety First, Intentional Inclusion, Act with Integrity, and Superior Performance.Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.Results-oriented/self-starter requiring minimal direct supervision.Willingness to share ideas and proactively address potential issues.Work Environment
This position requires working in an office environment with a focus on administrative support tasks. The role involves regular use of Microsoft Office products and requires excellent organizational and communication skills. The work environment is dynamic, with changing priorities, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential. The dress code is business casual.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
