Administrative Assistant
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the retail industry based in Clover, South Carolina. In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, processing of invoices, maintaining customer records, and serving as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. Responsibilities: • Accurately enter data into various software programs • Maintain and update customer records • Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable procedures • Process credit card transactions and checks • Handle inquiries and resolve administrative issues • Collaborate with sales team by keeping vendor pricing resources up-to-date • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel for managers and supervisors • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, directing them as necessary • Manage office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment • Create and maintain both physical and electronic job folders. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, managing customer inquiries efficiently and professionally • Exceptional customer service skills, with a proven ability to resolve complaints and issues • Proficient in data entry, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent skills in email correspondence, capable of managing high volume emails professionally • Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, adept at handling customer inquiries and complaints • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets, charts, and formulas • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, capable of managing emails, calendars, and contacts • Knowledgeable in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create effective presentations • Expertise in Microsoft Word, with the ability to create, edit, and format documents • Experience in scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings efficiently TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
