Schaffer's Mill Golf Club is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our fabulous team.

General Purpose:

Oversees the Front Office areas and performs daily administrative functions.

Pay Rate: $32-$35 per hour

Essential Duties:

Performs Accounting organization functions in conjunction with Troon Shared Accounting to include member billing, member statements, aging reports and Vacation Home Rental accounting. Performs Human Resources administrative functions for the facility in conjunction with Troon Human Resources to include new hire onboarding, corrective action reports, safety, compliance, and assists with leave of absences. Performs various administrative and clerical duties for the department manager such as typing, copying and filing documents, composing routine correspondence and taking minutes at meetings. Distributes daily mail and maintains facility filing system. Answers telephone, takes messages, and assists the general public with information about the department and/or facility. Prepares summaries and reports. Completes special projects and related duties as assigned by the department manager. Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

 

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, talks and hears.  Regularly uses hands, reaches with arms and hands.  Occasionally sits, stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls.  Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:      

Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the essential job duties of the position (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, and understanding safety instructions and operational manuals for the equipment the associates may use are written in English). Knowledge of lodging system application.
