The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support and research for multiple tasks of Basic Sciences Department.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for the Basic Sciences Department, but not limited to the following:

Assists with general correspondence, memoranda, surveys, applications, scheduling appointments, meeting minutes, and testingHandles requests for assistance and potential questions; provides information and clarificationOrders supplies for schoolFields all phone requestsAssists with letters and coordinates processingAssists with preparation of filesCoordinates administrationTakes minutes for assigned Committee Meetings.Assists with reports and maintains recordsCompiles and tabulates statistical informationProvides liaison between departmentsPerforms special projects and assignments as requested by Department Chair(s).Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience1-3 years administrative experience

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
