What you will do:

The Administrative Assistant II is responsible for administrative support to the Calvert City Site Manager and Calvert City Leadership Team members. This position is also responsible for preparing site performance reports and interfacing with visitors to the site.  It is the responsibility of each employee to know, understand, and diligently practice our EH&S and Security policies and practices.

 

Meeting coordination, site visitor registration and support, travel coordination and expense management, requisitioning and management of office supplies and equipment, safety documentation, manual and electronic filing, and general office management.  Coordinates with IT Team to ensure the IT infrastructure, computers printers, and telephone hardware are available and in good working order for good site operations. Coordinate Wacker Calvert City employee and public relations activities.  Represent Wacker in the community in activities such as Good Neighbor Night Area Planning Committee.  Manage site donations. Assist other leadership team managers with scheduling meetings, preparing reports / presentations, expense reports, travel arrangements, order lunch meals.  Assist visitors – Prepare agendas, coordinate meetings, travel arrangements. Manage offices – coordinate office cleaning, office layouts, order / inventory office supplies (including all furniture), order/ take care of pots, plants outside of the Admin. bldg., coordinates safety glasses orders for the plants (updates documents, fax the authorization forms), point of contact of the Calvert City Plant ( Public relations role of the plant), Prepare requisitions for the administration department. Switchboard operator – answer all incoming call to the switchboard number. Admin bldg. vehicle maintenance Supports site supervisors in weekly Payroll activities. 

 

What we need from you

HS Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred At least 3 years’ experience in administrative support Prior experience with IT preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Knowledge of SAP, and SharePoint programming would be beneficial. Strong interpersonal and communication skis required. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Muti-tasking and prioritizing job duties based upon level of urgency.
