Posting Number NONAC3374 Job Title Administrative Assistant III Position Title Administrative Assistant III Position Type Non-Faculty Number of vacancies 1 Salary Commensurate with experience Department Office of Digital Learning Position Summary The Office of Digital Learning at Morehouse School of Medicine seeks a dynamic Administrative Assistant to join their team. Collaborating closely with the Program Director and Manager(s). This role provides professional support for the department’s operations, administration, and clerical functions. The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in managing daily operations, organizing departmental meetings, and providing essential administrative support to contribute to the overall success of the Office of Digital Learning.


Minimum Qualifications Education: Associate’s degree. In lieu of educational requirements, experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.


Experience:2-4 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications Education:  Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Job Duties

Description of Job Duty Communication: Utilize well-developed analytical, technical, computer, and oral and written communication skills. Respond to inquiries and provide information as needed. Draft, proofread, and compose routine and complex correspondence, letters, memoranda, and other documents.


Office Management: Maintain organized and efficient office operations within the Office of Digital Learning Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory. Ensure a clean and conducive work environment.
Calendar Management: Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and events related to digital learning
Event Coordination:

Assist in coordinating and planning special events and activities for the Office of Digital Learning
Partner Service:

Serve as the department liaison for partners within the digital learning context.
Document Preparation:

Prepare and compose special project reports and correspondence of a confidential and complex Pre-Employment/Employment Requirements

Immunization

Immunization Requirements It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
