Administrative Assistant III

The Administrative Assistant shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose:  To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost. 

This position creates synergy for Training by administration and coordination of efforts, technology, ministry partners and other resources for Train – Develop – Care (TDC) teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Administrative Assistant to the Director of Training - 95%

Manage and prioritize Director’s email, calendar, travel (including flights and hotel reservations) and other administrative details as needed.Organize and set-up events and meetings (in-person, Zoom, and Teams)Maintain good communication with various teams and leadership at all levels as required.Implement technology to organize Training Director’s role and responsibilities.Organize fundraising mailings and manage database (including editing newsletter drafts)Manage to-do lists and OKR progress.Maintain Training records, updates, and communication, including enrollments, and communication with Mission Directors, Training Team, Core Leadership Team and other leaders.Work with Digital Learning Specialist to create, edit, and deploy trainings in Rise and LearnUpon.

Additional Responsibilities

Attend TDC community sharking and prayer times as able when in Colorado Springs.Participate in Navigators’ on-site learning and development events, Cultural Development and Diversity trainings, or other non-Navigator developmental events as appropriate.Participate in annual processes, such as the organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR), Engagement Survey, Reaffirmation of the Navigators Code of Conduct, Calling-Core Values-Vision, Statement of Faith, Driver’s Authorization, and other releases as required.Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.Submit expense report as needed due the 15th of each month.Other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Spiritual: Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an administrative professional.

Technical Knowledge & Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency. Quick to learn new technologies. Well organized and given to detail, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Graphic and visual design skills helpful.

Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal & written, to create understanding and build strong working relationships required.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or college coursework / equivalent experience required.

Compensation: 17.00-21.00/hour
