Howden Capital Markets & Advisory (“HCMA”) is one of the premier insurance-focused investment banking groups in the industry. Our team covers a broad range of insurance carrier and insurance services companies and offers expertise in M&A, capital raising, general strategic advice and Insurance-Linked Securities.
Primary Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible to provide administrative support primarily for our Senior ILS team members. The role will include, but not limited to:
Compiling and submitting expense reports for HTCMA team membersHeavy calendar management primarily for client meeting schedulingOrdering meals for client related meetingsCoordinate heavy travel arrangements for multiple team members – domestic and internationalGround transportation arrangementsAssist with offsite and onsite meetings and other special events that may include logistic organization, catering needs, and material preparationGeneral administrative tasks including, filing, scanning, printing, and mailing documentsCoordinating with HCMA Executive Assistant on various projects or tasksRequirements:
Candidates must be professional, polite, and attentive. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. Administrative Assistants must be comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who has a genuine desire to meet the needs of others. Prior experience at investment banking is preferred. The best candidates will also possess the following skills and abilities:
Bachelors degreeOpen to a new graduate or up to 3 years of experience of supporting a director level or higherProficiency within Microsoft Word, and PowerPointExtreme attention to detailDesire to be proactive and create a positive experience for othersPunctual, prompt and timelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task with competing prioritiesThis is a non-exempt role and the anticipated compensation range for this role is $30-$40 per hour which is the equivalent of an annual base salary range of $62,000-$83,000.
