The Administrative Assistant IV shall serve and shall fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.
This position provides quality and professional administrative support for the Director of Eagle Lake Camps.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Administration – 95%
Provide support to the Director of Eagle Lake, including but not limited to, managing Director’s email and other correspondence, schedules, travel and logistics, preparing meeting agendas and materials, personnel processes, maintaining task lists and project management.Conduct research and compile data to support decision-making processes.Ensure communication flow between the Director, direct-report staff, and other Navigator Departments.Maintain files (electronic and paper), including confidential files, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.Coordinate office logistics, including supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and meeting room setups.Assist in organizing events, workshops, and team-building activities.Exercises independent judgment within agreed-upon limits.Additional Responsibilities – 5%
events, Cultural Development and Diversity trainings, or other non-Navigator developmental events as appropriate.Participate in annual processes, such as the organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR), Engagement Survey, Reaffirmation of the Navigators Code of Conduct, Calling-Core Values-Vision, Statement of Faith, Driver’s Authorization, and other releases as required.Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.Other job-related duties as assigned.CORE COMPETENCIES

Spiritual: Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators.
Experience: At least five years of administrative experience, preferably at a Director or Executive level.
Technical Knowledge & Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency. Intermediate to advanced computer skills. Project management skills.
Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal & written, to create understanding and build strong working relationships required. Ability to take initiative and anticipate the Director’s needs on both a daily basis and for events/meeting requirements.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or combination of education and experience preferred.
