Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Office Manager

Job Description

This position requires an individual to sit at the front desk, greet visitors, and primarily support the sales and customer service team. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering phones, and facilitating customer requests.

ResponsibilitiesFacilitate customer requests within reasonable time frames, including order status and tracking.Direct customers to appropriate departments and facilitate internal conversations to meet customer needs and expectations.Answer and direct email and phone inquiries.Greet visitors and guests warmly, ensure they are properly signed into the building, and direct them to the appropriate department or employee.Accurate data entry and document filing.Learn different areas of daily needs to serve as a back-up for different daily tasks when necessary.Support meetings for management, including preparing the conference room, coordinating food orders, and setting up support technologies.Exercise considerable judgment and discretion.Distribute daily internal and external mail; send and distribute faxes.Compose, type, and distribute professional correspondence and memoranda, emails, and faxes.Maintain filing system.Order and maintain supplies.Perform general clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.Assist with special projects as assigned.Meet annual KPIs.Perform other related duties as assigned by management.Essential Skills5+ years of administrative experienceExperience with MS Excel (basic understanding acceptable)Strong communication skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsMinimum High School degree1-2 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant is a plusKnowledge of Microsoft Office, Office 365, printer, and fax machinesExcellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize workAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWork Environment

The role is onsite, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. The office manufactures seasoning blends, so different food scents, especially onion powder, may be present. The administrative assistant will sit at the front desk but will be near teammates from the sales/marketing team, ensuring they are not completely isolated.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
