Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant specializes in providing administrative support for a department or group of individuals. A broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience is beneficial in this position. The Administrative Assistant would support small to mid-size departments in a variety of ways including managing calendars, making travel arrangements, and processing payroll.
Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain efficient operational processesManage a range of responsibilities specific to small to mid-size departmentsProvide comprehensive administrative support tot a department or group of individualsHandle day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth operationsOrganize and coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and ensuring necessary resources are availableOrder and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment for the departmentEnsure timely procurement and cost-effective purchasingManage incoming and outgoing mailMaintain and coordinate executive and departmental calendarsPrioritize and schedule appointments, meetings, and eventsHandle payroll processing for non-exempt employeesRun and analyze reports as requiredMake travel arrangements for executives, ensuring all details are manages efficientlyProcess expense reports using Concur, ensuring compliance with company policiesThis description is not meant to be all-inclusive and may be modified from time to time at the discretion of management.
Requirements:
Proficiency in departmental operational processesFamiliarity with software and systems used for scheduling, payroll, and expense reportingExpertise in providing administrative support to a department or group of individualsAbility to manage day-to-day operations efficientlyOrganizational skills to handle travel logistics and expense trackingAbility to manage a broad scope of responsibilityHandle sensitive and confidential information with discretionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of professionalismEducation/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent. College Degree preferred.Familiarity with administrative processesEquivalent work experience in administrative roles#LI-MD1
Pay Details:
