Administrative Assistant Specialist
**Description:** Provides Administrative Support to the Vice President of ASBD Sustainment and the Vice President of ASBD IFG\. Responsibilities include organizing and communicating meetings, messages, and travel\. Proficiency with e\-mail, calendar management, scheduling activities/conference rooms \(Outlook\), travel planning which includes domestic and extensive international travel, expense reporting/reconciliation \(Concur\), document preparation, filing, and other tasks/projects as assigned\. Provide support as the liaison other programs and functional organizations\. Performs a wide range of complex and confidential administrative and clerical support duties\. Provides support to leaders conducting meetings and reviews\. Must be proactive and self\-starter\. Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide information and service to a wide range of internal and external contacts\. Requires ability to work across organizations in a professional and team\-spirited manner\. Ability to prioritize workload\. **Basic Qualifications:** 5\+ years Administrative Assistant experience\. High proficiency with MS Office tools \(Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint and VTC communications\)\. Experienced with Outlook to manage calendar, setting up business meeting, remediating conflicting schedules\. Extensive experience of Concur to prepare travel arrangements and expense reporting including international travel\. Experience with audio visual/virtual applications for conferencing and meetings\. **Desired Skills:** Proficiency to act as the point of contact among executives, employees, suppliers and other internal/external associates with competence and professionalism\. Capability to review requests, assess and route responses appropriately with sufficient follow up to completion and maintains confidentiality\. Manages information flow in a timely and accurate manner with an ability to ensure attention to details\. Adept at coordinating events, communication sessions ensuring all arrangements are successful\. Lead efforts to make connections \(audio/visual\) prior to meeting commencement\.
