Job SummaryOur team is seeking an administrative assistant to join our interdisciplinary research team focused on disrupting structural racism within governmental public health (GPH). The team is launching an academic center, the Collaborative for Transformational Public Health (CTPH). This work focuses on health and equity through anti-racist approaches in teaching and local health interventions. The ultimate goal is to contribute to a more equitable governmental public health workforce and beyond. As our team and projects continue to grow, administrative support is needed to support the advancement of our work.

The position will be based in the Department of Health Behavior & Health Equity (HBHE) at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Skills You HaveThere are two levels possible:
Administrative Assistant Senior Level: 4+ years of experience in a support role in an academic setting or similar environment
Administrative Assistant Intermediate Level: 2 - 4 years of experience in a support role in an academic setting or similar environment
High school diploma or equivalentEvent planning or comparable experienceExperience working with clients to address their needsExcellent written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills as demonstrated by application and interviewModes of WorkPositions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Underfill StatementThis position may be underfilled at a lower classification, depending on the selected candidate's qualifications. The salary offered will be commensurate with the position level.
Senior Level: $25,000 - $30,534 (FTR: $50,000-$61,069) depending on experience
Intermediate Level: $23,500 - $26,000 (FTR: $47,000 - $52,000) depending on experience
