Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Associate to perform essential administrative support duties within our assigned area. The role involves preparing documents, reports, and spreadsheets to support the business unit, maintaining files and calendars, and ensuring effective communication with coworkers and customers.
ResponsibilitiesPerform basic administrative duties under immediate supervision, following well-defined standard procedures.Prepare documents, reports, and spreadsheets as needed to support the business unit.Maintain files and calendars as needed.Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as other department software/systems as needed.Listen to and understand written and verbal instructions, and communicate effectively with coworkers, other employees, and customers.Work effectively and productively with others, actively helping with assignments to maintain department productivity.Answer customer questions, refer questions to others as needed, and actively learn the function of the department to assist customers more effectively.Apply basic education and training in job responsibilities and assignments, ask questions when unsure, and demonstrate initiative in handling assignments beyond the routine.Exchange documents with various courts, administrative agencies, and opposing parties, including pedestrian travel within a 5-block range or using a company vehicle for further distances.Serve large numbers of parties to a case with materials via hand-delivery, courier service, USPS mail, overnight courier, and email.Maintain a file system of aforementioned materials.Mail materials to a large number of parties in a single event (1000 recipients or more).Essential SkillsExperience in MS Word and MS ExcelTyping speed of 60 words per minuteHigh school diploma or GED1+ years of experience in administrative rolesDemonstrated computer proficiency, including the use of Microsoft Office ProductsAbility to organize data and processes and communicate effectively both orally and in writingGood analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail is imperative This is a 100% in-office role.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00
