Responsibilities
The Administrative Associate is responsible for providing administrative support to their unit. The Administrative Associate performs admission procedures order entry and transcription medical record maintenance and documentation supplies and equipment ordering and assisting with scheduling procedures. This position may also perform light housekeeping tasks to keep their immediate work area clean.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent required.Typing and data entry skills are required.Must possess good telephone skills and be able to interact well with people including patient families nurses physicians and other patient care providers as needed.Preferred Requirements:
Medical Terminology and Medical Assistant training preferred.Prior experience as a Unit Secretary or equivalent preferred.
