The Administrative Assistant Sr will be responsible for performing advanced administrative support activities with a high level of confidentiality, maturity, discretion, personal tact, judgment, and initiative. This role requires the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and to learn new systems promptly, while contributing positively to a team-oriented culture.
Responsibilities
+ Perform complex administrative support activities under limited supervision for multiple individuals.
+ Collect data and compile reports, correspondence, presentations, forms, and letters using independent judgment and initiative.
+ Conduct moderately complex calculations and review reports, data, and information for accuracy and adherence to standard procedures.
+ Review and verify the work of lower classified administrative personnel.
+ Draft complex memos, letters, and reports for internal and external circulation with a high degree of accuracy.
+ Effectively communicate policies, procedures, and decisions to management and customers in a positive manner.
+ Influence administrative employees to collaborate and achieve established goals.
+ Continually develop knowledge and skills of new technology to enhance administrative efficiencies and improve customer service.
+ Exhibit appropriate decision-making skills by applying knowledge of policy and practice to unique situations.
+ Demonstrate creativity and innovation in problem resolution while maintaining composure under pressure and tight time frames.
Essential Skills
+ High school graduate or GED or equivalent education.
+ Proficiency in administrative office procedures, practices, and equipment.
+ Strong command of business English, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and letter writing.
+ Excellent telephone technique.
+ Ability to organize data and processes effectively.
+ Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
+ Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency with computers and office-oriented software products.
+ Minimum of 6 years of related administrative experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in varied business situations requiring confidentiality, maturity, discretion, personal tact, judgment, and initiative.
+ Experience with data entry, credit card transactions, and invoice processing.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
Work Environment
This is an onsite position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. There is a possibility of up to 10 hours of overtime per week. The role requires working in a professional office environment and adhering to standard dress codes.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
