Administrative Coordinator, Visual & Performing Arts
Location: Bowling Green, KY Category: Staff Posted On: Mon Oct 21 2024 Job Description: The Administrative Coordinator performs a variety of duties for units in the Visual & Performing Arts that are complex in nature and require a high level of initiative, accuracy, and judgement to support effective operation. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: + Oversee Faculty Load and Compensation process to ensure timely and accurate payment to all full-time and part-time faculty. + Prepare course scheduling in Banner. + Supervise building space to include assigning classrooms, assisting with PDC Projects, completing maintenance requests, and managing offices and common areas. + Oversee office and classroom equipment and supplies. + Provide support to department chairs and complete special projects as needed. + Communicate clearly and professionally both internally and externally from departments. + Cross-train duties to provide departmental and college support when necessary. + Other duties as assigned. Additional Theatre & Dance Duties include: + Manage student workers to include hiring, onboarding, scheduling, approving timesheets and overseeing duties. + Provide support for recruiting, retention, and outreach events. + Update calendar website and social media with new events and information. + Schedule tours for potential students. Job Requirements: Two-year post-secondary education, plus two years related administrative experience OR HS diploma or GED, plus four years administrative experience.
