This position provides comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the Licensure Department and reports directly to the Director of Licensure. This includes but is not limited to: greets and directs visitors to appropriate destinations, creates and maintains a daily visitors log (ensures that all visitors to the agency sign in and out), maintains employee and department directories, studies and familiarizes self with all practice acts, rules and regulations and statutes for licensure disciplines regulated by the Board, answers questions from applicants and/or licensees through phone or personal contact regarding rules, regulations, application completion, required documents, document submission due dates, etc. AN IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING COMPETENCIES: Accepting Direction: The ability to accept and follow directions from those higher in the chain of command. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.
