Under supervision of the Behavioral Health Manager and according to established policies and procedures, coordinates office operations for assigned area of duty. In doing so completes charging/billing, verification of patients' benefits, schedules appointments, assembles and maintains patient charts, answers telephones calls, relays others call and messages. Ensures maintenance and accuracy of all records, provides operational oversight to mental health and wellness programs & oversees unit secretaries in respective programs. Remains proficient in required competencies.

Required Qualifications:
upon hire: Crisis Prevention certification, or within 3 months of hire into the position. 3 years General office/administrative experience with at least 1 year experience comprised of medical front office experience that includes patient admitting, medical billing and medical insurance verification. Experience providing oversight to individuals in a leader or supervisory capacity. Supervisory or lead experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training on PMM ordering module. Coursework/Training with ICD-9 and CPT codes. upon hire: Certified Medical Office Assistant (Front Office). 3 years Experience working in a medical office.Why Join Providence?
