Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator in Los Angeles, California. This position is in the non-profit industry, focusing on providing support to other non-profit organizations. As an Administrative Coordinator, your main function will be to ensure efficient administrative operations, manage event logistics, and facilitate effective communication. Responsibilities • Oversee the administration of various programs within the organization. • Manage the logistics of events, ensuring smooth execution and coordination. • Provide comprehensive administrative support, assisting in daily operations and tasks. • Coordinate and schedule meetings to facilitate efficient communication and collaboration. • Handle correspondence, ensuring effective communication within and outside the organization. • Utilize your skills in event coordination and business correspondence to enhance operational efficiency. • Use your ability to compose correspondence to maintain clear and effective communication. Requirements • Proven experience in coordinating events, including planning, organizing, and executing all aspects related to successful event management. • Expertise in handling event logistics to ensure smooth operations, including venue selection, transportation, and catering arrangements. • Excellent skills in managing business correspondence, including drafting emails, letters, reports, and other types of communications. • Ability to compose correspondence with professionalism and accuracy, ensuring all communications uphold the company's image and values. • High degree of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and clients. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations. • A high level of discretion and confidentiality, given the sensitive nature of the information handled in this role. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
