Administrative Coordinator
Our client, a regulatory leader in central Edmonton, is seeking a Program & Administrative Coordinator to support ongoing Competency programs. This role is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring medical professionals receive the necessary guidance and resources to enhance their skills and maintain high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:Program Administration: Support and manage continuing competence programs, including additional prescribing authorization applications.Stakeholder Support: Provide guidance and respond to inquiries regarding program requirements, assessments, and learning opportunities.Records & System Management: Maintain accurate records, manage databases, and collaborate with IT to resolve system issues.Assessment Coordination: Review applications, coordinate assessments, and facilitate professional development activities.Program Development: Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of educational programs and departmental procedures.Committee & Meeting Coordination: Organize meetings, training sessions, and committee gatherings, including logistics, agendas, and documentation.Reporting & Communication: Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations as required.Front-Facing Role: Act as the primary point of contact for competence-related inquiries and provide clear communication with regulated members.Qualifications & Experience:Diploma or degree in business administration, education, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in administrative or program coordination roles.Experience in regulatory bodies, post-secondary institutions, or government settings is highly preferred.Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (testing required).Strong written and verbal communication skills; English fluency is required.Experience preparing reports, coordinating events, and managing projects.Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, take initiative, and work independently while collaborating with a team.Calm under pressure and thrives in a dynamic work environment.
