Job Summary
This admin position will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Office of Community Health and Inclusive Excellence. This role is essential in facilitating the office's operations, enhancing communication, and supporting community outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to promoting health equity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Essential Functions
Administrative Support:
Manage the daily operations of the office, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and preparing correspondence. Maintain office files, records, and databases, ensuring information is organized and easily accessible.Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in the development and distribution of materials related to community health initiatives and programs. (Includes flyers and other creative communications)Event Coordination:
Organize and coordinate meetings, workshops, and community events, including logistics, venue selection, and participant communication. Support the preparation of presentations and reports for stakeholders.Project Assistance:
Assist in the implementation of community health projects and initiatives, including data collection and analysis. Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for community engagement and health promotion. Other duties as AssignedRequired Qualifications
Minimum of HS Diploma or GED . Minimum of 2-4 years of Executive level assistance; preferably in a health or community-focused organization Commitment to health equity and inclusive practices.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Administration, or a related field is preferred.Physical Demands

This position is classified as Non-Exempt, grade H. Compensation for this grade ranges from $17.14 to $ 25.71 Per Hour. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
