This administrative/front desk role involves handling various clerical duties and responsibilities.
ResponsibilitiesAssisting with quotes by typing them up and sending them out (some days they receive 9 quotes, other days none)Filing documents, including invoices, blueprints, etc. (all documents are filed physically, none are digital)Printing and scanning blueprintsOrdering office suppliesAnswering inbound calls and transferring them to the appropriate personHandling basic projects within Word and ExcelPerforming additional clerical responsibilities as neededEssential SkillsMinimum 3 years of clerical/administrative experienceStrong filing skills (knowledge of alphabetical order)Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic knowledge of ExcelProfessional phone skillsExcellent typing skillsStrong attention to detailCustomer service and communication skills via phonePersonable and enjoys working with othersAdditional Skills & QualificationsUnderstanding of quotesExperience in ordering suppliesWork Environment
This is a small office with less than 10 people. The office hours are from 9am to 4pm, with the possibility of changing to 8:30am over time. The team enjoys a close-knit environment, often ordering lunch and eating together. Employees have long tenures, with some having been with the company for over 30 years. The office culture includes bringing donuts/bagels on Fridays and hosting an annual holiday party with families.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
