THE JOB:

As the Banquet Administrative Coordinator, you’ll be the backbone of the department, keeping things running smoothly with top-notch administrative and clerical support. Beyond the paperwork, you'll collaborate with teams across the property, ensuring seamless communication and teamwork. Every task you take on helps create an exceptional experience for both guests and colleagues, all while upholding the high standards of MGM Resorts International.

THE STARTING RATE: $22.25

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Greet all visitors and callers and address their needs, answer multi-line phone systems and direct calls to the appropriate staff/department, respond to all general e-mail correspondence from guests and staff

Schedule conference calls and meetings for office staff

Coordinate pick-up, shipping, and storage of product; monitor, move and adjust storage areas as needed according to shipping requirements

Keep inventory stocked and sorted, ensuring items are easy to find when needed

Prepare and distribute the Daily Event Sheet from the BEOs to all departments

Work closely with the functional department groups as necessary

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Prior experience in an administrative, coordinator, clerical role

Proficient with managing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to support seamless event execution

Strong customer service skills

Bilingual Spanish and English

Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail

Payroll experience such as processing, entering time and adjustments into Payroll systems

Experience with scheduling or centralized scheduling

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
