Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Administrative Coordinator II for NJMS-Surgery-Vascular Surgery. Under the direction of the Department Administrator, the Administrative Coordinator II will provide advanced, diversified and confidential services to the NJMS – Department of Surgery-Vascular Surgery. Exercise considerable discretion and independent judgment in handling day-today matters.

Among the key duties of this position are the following: Provides a high level of administrative support to the Division Faculty (multiple)/Division Chief. Coordinates office operations, including forms, secretarial/clerical work, space, and office equipment and repair, internal reporting systems, and ordering supplies and materials. Suggests methods for office improvement. Responsible for opening and distributing incoming mail. Responsible for the development, organizing and maintaining departmental files, correspondence, etc. Organizes and maintains file systems and files correspondence and other records. Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations for faculty. Conducts research, and compiles/types statistical reports. Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities and records/transcribes minutes for meetings.
