Offer training programs for environmental health professionals.

More than 67,000 students and 22,000 faculty and staff learn, work, and serve the public at Rutgers locations across New Jersey and around the world.   Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey has opening for Administrative Coordinator II within the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute, located in Piscataway, NJ.  Under supervision, participates in the administration of the federally contracted World Trade Center Health Program at Rutgers. Works across the healthcare spectrum to coordinate patient care in adherence with programmatic guidelines and quality objectives. Coordinates varied aspects of healthcare operations such as referral and pre-authorization management, claims management, billing, certification of health condition management, and patient retention.

Duties include: Under supervision, coordinates administrative initiatives for the World Trade Center Health Program at Rutgers. Supports the Project Manager in developing workflows to ensure compliance with program guidelines and maximize quality outcomes in patient care and provider relations Assists in reviewing and adjudicating external medical claims in accordance with program guidelines and coding. Performs billing reconciliation and responds to claim related inquiries from members and providers. Assists in internal billing in Epic and verifies coding and charge accuracy for payment submission Conducts referral and pre-authorization requests to in network specialty providers. Reviews incoming requests for administrative compliance with the WTC Health Program codebook. Prepares and manages certification of health condition requests to the WTC Health Program, and communicates with patients on status of requests.
