Reporting to the Administrative Executive Manager, the Administrative Coordinator will perform duties to assist in the processing and completion of the administrative operations of the office. Responsibilities include, ordering office supplies, greeting office visitors, and providing general support to the office of the Senior Vice President. In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, typical duties may include, but are not limited to the following: -Manages basic office functions such as communications, meeting schedules, work plans, staff assignments, and distributing information. -Support operations within the Office of Student Success & Enrollment Management by assisting with the execution of programming, and special events and/or projects, including, but not limited to, Dean’s List Ceremonies and Commencement. -Collaborate with staff within the office to coordinate program development and logistics for campus events. -Liaise with internal and external partners, and prospective vendors to facilitate the execution of events. -Serve as liaison to other administrative offices, academic offices, internal and external organizations. -Provide information and respond to all inquiries by staff, faculty and students as well as requests from within the Campus/College community who contact the Student Success & Enrollment Management. -Ensure timely and accurate communication between members of the campus community. -Organize and execute logistics for events and meetings. -May supervise part-time office staff and student workers. •-Assist with special projects as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** Bachelor's Degree required. Preferred Qualifications: -Working knowledge of office practices and procedures. -Knowledge of MS Microsoft Office Suite. -Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, administration, students and staff. -Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing; to follow written and verbal instructions. -Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. **CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW** Supports projects, initiatives, and activities that impact an academic or administrative department. - Manages basic office functions such as communications, meeting schedules, work plans, staff assignments, and distributing information. - Collects data for, prepares, and distributes reports and presentations using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. - Updates office databases, lists, and files to ensure completeness and accuracy; maintains current information on department web site(s); maintains department archives and collections. - Conducts internet and/or database research and performs basic systems queries to locate information related to department activities. - Maintains department fiscal plans and budgets; assists in budget administration and invoice processing. - Provides basic information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department. - May supervise office staff and student workers. - Performs related duties as assigned.
