We are seeking an Administrative Group Leader to join our growing company. The position is hybrid and we are seeking someone who lives in one of the following states and can travel to offices: CT, DE, NJ, PA, MA, or NY.
This individual is responsible for streamlining processes and developing consistency and efficiencies related to administrative support of both project managers and office/facilities. This role takes a hands-on approach to employee development, ensuring career growth opportunities are realized within the team. This role is tasked with overseeing office supply budgets, acting as a liaison between the administrative team and company leaders, and addressing challenges promptly to foster a solutions-oriented approach.
Primary Objectives:
•Align administrative support with organizational objectives, goals, and KPIs.
•Streamline and standardize administrative processes across the geographic area.
•Accountable for resource allocation, workload leveling, and identification of resourcing needs to support workload.
•Identify training opportunities for administrative team members to ensure high-quality service to clients and staff.
Secondary Objectives:
•Foster career growth and oversee professional development of the team consistent with Verdantas’ core values, strategy, and career paths.
•Enhance internal and external client experiences through efficient administrative support.
Responsibilities:•Streamline processes and develop consistency and efficiencies related to administrative support of both project managers and office/facilities.
•Identify areas where technology can be implemented to streamline workflows and enhance administrative efficiency.
•Establish and maintain standardized administrative procedures across the geographic area.
•Oversee the office supply budget for the geographic area, seeking efficiencies and ensuring the best vendors are used for optimal pricing.
•Develop a consistent onboarding process for new administrative coordinators, assimilating new team members into the organization.
•Support integration of new acquisitions and onboarding of new team members.
•Promote effective communication and collaboration between the administrative team and company leaders.
•Communicate company strategies and champion change initiatives, providing team members with relevance and context for change.
•Drive quality of deliverables and consistent work product in alignment with Verdantas best practices and templates.
Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
•Proven experience in a leadership role managing a team of 15 or more.
•Demonstrated ability to streamline processes and develop efficiencies in administrative support.
•Experience in overseeing office/facilities management and vendor relationships.
•Track record of effectively managing budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
•Experience in developing and implementing training programs and onboarding processes.
