Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Manager, Regional (Indirect) Purchasing- Plant Operations to join their team. As the Manager, Regional (Indirect) Purchasing- Plant Operations, you will be part of the Purchasing team supporting the facility level with the intention to achieve maximum cost reductions and efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills, along with experience in sourcing, purchasing, or manufacturing focused project management.
**Job Title:** Manager, Regional (Indirect) Purchasing- Plant Operations
**Location:** Delaware, OH
**Pay Range:** $40/hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Lead purchasing team members and supplier partners to execute tactical purchasing activities and implement contract programs at the facility level
+ Effectively administer the Procure to Pay process
+ Communicate KPI and project status across the organization in the various Indirect materials and services categories
+ Track and report KPI’s to senior leaders
+ Lead cross functional teams to identify & execute cost out opportunities through suppliers
**What's Needed?**
+ 5-7 years of relevant experience in sourcing, purchasing or manufacturing focused project management
+ 2-3 years experience Indirect Purchasing: Indirect materials, facility services, IT, professional services
+ 3 years in a management of people role
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
+ Proficient in Project Management methodologies, processes and tools
