Description The AN I (Lead Nurse) is responsible for assisting with clinical management and administrative coordination of the nursing unit. The position is a combination of clinical (direct care) and administrative responsibilities. Qualifications We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with the following: + current valid California RN license, required + BSN or MSN, required + 2 years of acute nursing experience required + PTU/PACU or Critical Care experience preferred + Eye experience preferred + BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required + ACLS from American Heart Association required + PALS from American Heart Association required + Pediatric experience preferred + CCRN, CAPA, or CPAN preferred + Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis + Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments + Ability to develop, implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff + Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire.
