Seeking Skilled Office Assistant with Account skills who speaks English and Spanish for a position in Kansas City MO. Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm, 30-minute unpaid break. Pay Rate $21/hour. This position is export controlled. PRIMARY PURPOSE for this Administrative Assistant: This position is accountable for performing a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the Manager and/or department to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES as a Administrative Assistant include: Relieve management of administrative detail, all projects. Update and chase delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines. Keep projects on schedule. Compose correspondence/reports for own or manager’s signature. Research, draft or abstract reports. Prepare quotations for customers. Assist with creating financial models. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist management as an interpreter for Spanish speaking employees. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE for the Administrative Assistant include: Minimum education, job experience, certifications, skills, knowledge, and abilities that incumbent must typically have to perform the essential functions of the job acceptably with or without a reasonable accommodation. Seeking Experience Administrative Assistants with: Proficient in English and conversational Spanish Proficient in Accounts Payable Three years of related work experience Two years of experience in accounting Excellent computer skills with a strong knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word and PowerPoint are necessary. Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment Specialized equipment used in this job. Computer and office equipment MS Office Other skills and qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication/language skills required to include the ability to provide written and verbal instructions, compile and present business reports/correspondence, and present information clearly. Capable of planning and organizing work and processes; ability to self-direct multiple projects and meet deadlines. Quality and customer service orientation. Ability to cooperate and interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member.
