Summary The position serves as an Administrative Officer located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), U.S. National Central Bureau of the International Criminal Police Organization (USNCB). The incumbent is responsible for facilitating international U.S. criminal investigative and humanitarian efforts. *Announcement is limited to the first 75 applicants who apply, announcement will close if this number is reached prior to scheduled closing date. Duties include but not limited to include: -Assist in developing strategies for INTERPOL organizational planning. -Conducts comprehensive evaluation of ongoing functions. -Provide authoritative guidance in the resolution of complex problems or issues impacting INTERPOL. -Reviews long and short-range plans, agency priorities, justifications. -Supervises a team who perform administrative work. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for the position of Administrative Officer at (GS-0341-14), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to. If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in Federal service performing the following duties: Performing administrative and human resource management functions; serving as a senior advisor to management; developing policies AND providing direction and guidance to lower-level staff members. You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including Time-in-Grade, by the closing date of this announcement, 01/31/2025.
