Summary About the Position: This Administrative Officer position is located at White Sands Missile Range, Commanding General Office, with duty location of White Sands Missile Range, NM. White Sands Missile Range, NM. The Range provides Army, Navy, Air Force, DoD, and other customers with high quality services for experimentation, test, research, assessment, development, and training in support of the Nation. Responsibilities Act as the RCC Taskmaster, responsibilities involve but are not limited to tracking and prompting task progress, analyzing task products, and instituting task process improvements for a task programs. Serve as the central point of contact (Administrative Officer) for all RCC elements for issues and actions resulting from the TRs/ Group Chairs meetings. Perform a variety of administrative effort to include planning, organizing, and carrying out the widely diversified activities required in the efficient and effective operation of the office. Advise the RCC EO, Technical Representatives Chair, and all RCC committees on task proposal processes, planned timelines and established acceptance criteria Develops and execute the office and travel budget. Specialized Experience: OThree years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the NH-01/GS-04 pay/grade level, which includes (1) experience tracking suspense's using applicable procedures/policies; and 2.) Experience using a variety of automate office systems software to include Microsoft Office software, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlooks to create, edit, format and /or distribute various correspondence, document and/or reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04). OR Education: Four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages. The White Sands Test Center is participating in an alternate personnel system known as the acquisition demonstration project. The NH-02 band is equal to the former GS-05 Step 01 through GS-11 Step 10. WSMR uses salary control points within the salary range to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than $96,116.00(with locality). The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command has various incentives that may be available for highly qualified candidates.
