Administrative Operations Manager - ASG III **Galveston, Texas, United States** Business, Managerial & Finance UTMB Health Requisition # 2404642 **Minimum Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field; 4 years related experience. **Job Summary:** To plan and supervise the business management and staff service functions of a large process. Responsible for overall management of departmental administrative and technical services and special projects. Includes a variety of complex decisions with minimal direction. **Job Duties:** + Responsible for hiring and onboarding all new Federal Work Study Students, CRNAs, APPs, and faculty in the ASG III (Departments of Surgery, Anesthesiology, and Dermatology). + Drafting SBARs, creating FWMs, and submitting EAFs as needed. + Creates processes to support the above functions, including WOS positions. + Processes and/or requests all HR transactions in HCM or via the AESC for all Departmental personnel + Ensures faculty, APPs, CRNAs, and any new staff are properly oriented with departmental policies, required training, and procedures. + Coordinates special projects and provides liaison work within other Departments as needed. + Assist with Provider Enrollment and credentialing at UTMB for all departmental faculty and staff. + Works with the Administrator and Senior leadership to ensure Departmental goals are aligned with the organization's mission, values, and business plan. + Analyzes Departmental operations and initiates process improvements as needed. + Provides guidance for interpretation of UTMB and Departmental rules, regulations, and policies. + Provides information coordination between administrative staff and leadership. + Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure. + Performs related duties as required. **Salary Range:** Commensurate with experience. **EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:** UTMB Health strives to provide equal opportunity employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, national origin, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or any other basis protected by institutional policy or by federal, state or local laws unless such distinction is required by law.
