Summary
The Administrative Residency is a preceptor-directed program, designed to nurture independence and immersive experiences to prepare recent graduates for essential management and leadership roles within the healthcare industry.
The goal of the program is to:
Promote leadership competency development through a wide array of practical experiences; Support the long-term leadership needs of the Cancer Center, serving as a talent pipeline, and to align the interests and opportunities of each Resident; Increase the Resident’s readiness to be considered for a full-time position at the end of the 12-month residency.Minimum Education
Education Level: Master’s Degree To be eligible for Moffitt’s Administrative Residency Program in 2025, the graduate degree must be obtained between July 1, 2024, and May 30, 2025. Qualified applicants must have a Master’s degree (MBA Healthcare Concentration/MHA) or equivalent coursework completed from a US-based university.Minimum Experience Required
Moffitt’s Administrative Residency is a 1-year, direct-entry, early-career training program that begins immediately upon completion of a healthcare-related graduate degree. Hospital administrative internship experience highly preferred.
