The Department of Health and Human Services is recruiting to fill an Administrative Services Officer 4 position within the Director's Office Fiscal Services Unit located in Carson City. Under the direction of the Deputy Director of Fiscal Services, the incumbent administers and supervises the Director's Office fiscal and administrative functions to include developing the biennial budget; overseeing office expenditures and revenues; analyzing revenue and expenditure trends relative to budget authority; overseeing office internal controls; preparing and/or overseeing the preparation of federal financial reports; preparing fiscal reports and presentations; overseeing any Director's Office information technology issues; researching and developing policies; and analyzing operational and systems issues. ***THIS RECRUITMENT MAY CLOSE WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED. Special Requirements A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items. A valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continued employment. Additional Position Criteria This recruitment is only open to current classified employees in state service with at least six months of continuous, full-time equivalent service.
