Administrative Specialist, Accounting/Payroll Support
**Position Overview:** The Administrative Specialist will provide essential administrative and office support to Accounting/Payroll managers, managing directors, and partners. This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. **Top reasons to work with Adecco.** · Payday every Friday · Upskilling opportunities through the Adecco Aspire Academy · An opportunity to get hired on permanent with our client. · Assigned your very own onboarding specialist. **Job Details** Shift: M-F 8am-5pm Pay Rate: $ 24.00/hr Location: Tempe, AZ **Key Responsibilities:** + Manage and distribute communications via a direct contact email tool to the North American Payroll Team, ensuring accurate data storage and retrieval. + Maintain and manage complex calendars, coordinating appointments and meetings. + Track and report on key financial data, including ADP invoices and Ex-Pat data, utilizing Excel spreadsheets for data management. + Monitor and process ServiceCentral tickets, gathering information from HR and payroll systems to facilitate timely assignment and resolution. + Generate comprehensive reports, including open ticket lists, and track returned live checks and tax forms. + Process incoming mail, including opening, reviewing, and scanning documents. + Compile and populate data for Canadian required Verification of Employment (VOE) documents. + Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, utilizing strong decision-making skills to address challenges. + Maintain professional verbal and written communication with all stakeholders. **Qualifications:** + Minimum of 4-6 years of administrative experience in a professional setting. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced proficiency in Outlook, intermediate proficiency in Excel, and proficiency in Word. + Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. + Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. + Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes. + A proven ability to work independently. **This position is managed by one of Adecco’s National Recruitment Teams, not your local branch.
