Job Title: Administrative SpecialistJob Description

This position will have various responsibilities, including processing disability claims and providing backup support for mail processing.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare incoming and outgoing claim-related mail for distribution.Examine, sort, and scan incoming claimant and physician mail and fax responses.Load and operate postage machinery.Keep records of incoming and outgoing claim-related mail, associated postage, and delivery of mail to USPS.Examine and process claims forms, documentation, and reports.Ensure compliance with customer and company procedures.Assist insurance clients with problems or questions regarding their claims and/or policies via phone and email.Enter codes and verify data for computer processing.Essential Skills1-4 years of experience in administrative, data entry, or office support rolesAttention to detail and note-taking abilityStrong organizational skillsExcellent communication skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsProfessionalismAbility to work with multiple systems at a timeWork EnvironmentFor the first 3 months, the focus will be on training and helping in the mail room, requiring daily office attendance. After this period, training on the processing role will begin, allowing for a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. The working hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with two 15-minute breaks and a lunch break throughout the day. The CAS team consists of 16 people, working in an open office environment alongside their partners. When working remotely, a dedicated workspace at home is required. The company will provide a laptop and screens; the employee must have an internet connection at home.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
