ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST
Summary You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the CYBER / SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA. Responsibilities You will assist with responsibilities in fiscal operations, procurements, personnel, and general administrative tasks. You will participate in the analysis and evaluation of existing administrative operational and support processes and procedures within the division. You will advise division leadership on the potential benefits/uses of automation (HUB/JIRA/FS) to improve the efficiency. You will assist with the preparation of travel arrangements for personnel; review travel documents (e.g., vouchers, compensation time requests, etc.) to ensure accuracy You will provide support for coordination of data calls such as awards and promotions and shall coordinate meetings and prepare presentations materials as needed. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or NO-01 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate the following: experience in fiscal operations, procurements, travel arrangements for personnel and review travel documents. Proficient in managing staff calendars and other scheduling and administrative tasks. Additional Information This position is in the Science & Technology Reinvention Laboratory (STRL) Human Resource Management System pay band for Department of Defense laboratories.
