Job Description:
Oversee McTrans software marketing and sales operations, including developing strategies to create new products, plans, membership, pricing, discounts, etc. Analyze customer information and logs to get insights into the market and expand the customer base.
Supervise sales staff and provide the support needed. Provide updates on sales and revenue to the McTrans director. This position is responsible for handling unhappy and dissatisfied customers to ensure the continuation of business in the future.
Provide customer service to current and potential McTrans customers. Answer phone calls, and emails. Process orders, add and edit customer information in the online store, generate and provide invoices to customers, and activate software registrations.
Contact customers with their subscriptions due and try to sell our subscription services and follow up on their payments. Take technical support tickets and redirect them to appropriate McTrans personnel.
Provide assistance with McTrans marketing efforts including performing outreach to the customers and collecting their feedback about our products and services.
Process checks, log checks in the spreadsheet, post checks for accounts payable and make notes of check numbers corresponding to orders. Process documents necessary to correct any errors that are discovered in the monthly reconciliation process. Ensure that corrections are completed accurately. Participate and monitor McTrans webinar activities, as necessary.
Other duties as assigned by the McTrans Director.
Expected Salary:
$50,000-$65,000; commensurate with qualifications and experience
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
General accounts transaction experience
Experience working in software (online tools, offline tools, or desktop tools) marketing and sales.
Ability to interact cordially with customers and staff (primarily administrative staff as well as the director)
Working knowledge of UF policies and procedures
Working knowledge of UF purchasing procedures and guidelines
Ability to function under stressful circumstances and determine priorities to meet required deadlines.
