The Administrative Specialist III position will provide general administrative support for the Associate Athletic Director for Academics and Student-Athlete Development, the Director for Student-Athlete Development, and The Office of Student-Athlete Success. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering phone calls, scheduling and maintaining office calendars/making appointments, make agendas and recording meeting minutes, facilitating procurement of supplies, onboarding new hires and generate and managing reports.Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
At least one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field
At least three years of experience in specialized or a related field applicable to work performed
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Experience managing and prioritizing incoming communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of record keeping procedures
Knowledge of the principles and practices of mathematics and statistics
Knowledge of computers and software applications
Ability to conduct research and compile data into report form
Ability to establish and maintain filing systems
Ability to operate standard office equipment
Ability to analyze documents to determine general compliance with rules, regulations, and procedures
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
