ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT POSITION DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY
Seeking a detail-oriented individual to perform administrative tasks including answering phones, filing documents, data entry, managing office supplies, and providing general office support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned.
Reception duties: Answering and directing incoming phone calls, greeting visitors, providing basic information File management: Maintaining accurate filing systems, retrieving and distributing documents Data entry: Inputting information into computer systems, updating databases Mail handling: Sorting and distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail Copy and scan operations: Making copies of documents, scanning files Office support: Maintaining office supplies inventory, ordering replacements Basic administrative tasks: Creating and distributing simple documents, preparing reports as needed Calendar management: Scheduling appointments and meetings
QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
0 - 2 years working in an administrative role. High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree or currently pursuing preferred. Working knowledge of the construction industry is a plus.

Excellent organization, communication, customer service and interpersonal skills Scheduling and time management skills Strategic, analytical, and multi-tasking skills Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel).
