Responsibilities Enter financial data into automated financial accounting system, includes travel, payroll, and charge cards for employees. Assist managers, supervisors, employees, volunteers and customers with administrative functions and support; answer telephones, greet customers; present administrative training. Review and perform technical audits of financial transactions. Conduct training. Identify ways to improve administrative processes based on policy limitations. Develop Standard Operation Procedures and training materials. Purchase supplies and equipment using simplified acquisition procedures through the DOI integrated charge card program. Serve as collections officer. Prepare appropriate receipts, records, and tracking forms. Reconcile accounts receivable, aging analysis reports, and suspense and unearned accounts. GS-06: Experience: You must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 level that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity as indicated by the following examples: providing customer service to internal and external customers, processing payroll and travel documents, records management, instructing others in administrative procedures, and editing correspondence.
