ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT - TITLE 32
Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT - TITLE 32, Position Description Number PDD126300A and is part of the KY JFHQ, National Guard. Responsibilities As an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT - TITLE 32, GS-0303-7, you will perform support work in office administration areas such as budgeting, purchasing, supply, personnel, word processing, and files management. Collect data for the office-operating budget, review submissions, and monitor annual budget. Serve as the Records Management Coordinator and maintain the office filing system. Serve as the focal point for all personnel actions in the organization. Maintain a register of pending actions and suspense dates. Review documents for accuracy, format, and compliance with applicable regulations. Accomplish travel arrangements for the office and coordinate visits. Prepare and monitor appointment/delegation letters. Maintain an official file of all appointments. Coordinate joint directorate inspections such as NGB, Army IG, and Army Audit Agencies, and other external agencies. Assist in the development of policy letters, which may require researching applicable directives from higher authority. Advise other administrative personnel of latest directives regarding administrative procedures. Develop and exchange information, resolve operating problems and make recommendations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Military Grades: PFC - SSG RANK REQUIREMENT: Member must provide in writing with their application package that they are willing to accept a reduction in rank in order to be qualified for this position, if applicable. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: You must maintain membership in the Kentucky National Guard. You must be assigned to a compatible military position. Wear of the military uniform. Position may require a pre-employment physical. May be subject to furlough actions. May be required to successfully complete a trial period. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Must obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication of a T3 or equivalent investigation. Acceptance of a Federal position may terminate a military bonus. Acceptance of a Federal position will terminate Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility. This position is located on a tobacco free facility. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the administrative or clerical duties of the position. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 12 months experience in the interpretation and application of regulations, procedures or laws. Experience that provided a working knowledge of administrative functions. Experience demonstrating the ability to advise lower graded employees. Experience working independently and setting priorities with very little supervisory control. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment. (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only and unspecified work schedule will result in disqualification.
