Shift Primarily days (i.e. Monday – Friday, 8a-5p) Please be aware that as an exempt position, job duties may occasionally require additional time in the evenings, nights, holidays and/or weekends to accomplish work goals in excess of 40 hours per week. Job Summary This position will maintain, expand, and implement new technology infrastructure supporting the Offices of the Graduate School including Admissions, Academic Services, Funding and Analytics and Professional Enhancement.

The successful candidate will work closely with a diverse team of analysts and technical team members to understand, analyze, diagnose, and assist in resolving issues. They will be able to manage and prepare for successfully completing system updates and new enhancements, including writing and maintaining test plans, documenting concerns and resolving problems. They will have high attention to customer service, and the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical individuals.

They will be able to interface with software companies when necessary to manage and implement new solutions from 3rd-party vendors systems (Slate, SAP, Salesforce, Blackbaud, EAB, etc). They will be able to lead the development of coherent and robust business processes, including documentation and training. They will be able to identify and define new process improvement opportunities.

The successful candidate will have an analytical mind, a talent for problem solving, high attention to detail and strong communication skills. They will be innovative and want to work in a place where they can make a difference.

IEBC (Internal Employee Being Considered). Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Knowledge of higher education software systems and processes (Slate, Salesforce, SAP), customer service, attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem solving skills. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience Bachelor’s Degree in technology or business plus four or more years related experience preferred.
Experience with software implementation and integration preferred.
