ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
Summary You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the FLEET TECHNICAL SUPPORT DIVISION within the FLEET READINESS DEPT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA in Pearl Harbor, HI. The salary range shown represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13, Step 10; currently $140,155. Responsibilities You will serve as the Logistics Coordinator responsible for creating, tracking, and managing logistical support requirements for the Submarine Electronic Cannibalization Program and Cannibalization Support for the Type Commander and Pacific Fleet. You will provide technical direction to Submarine Commands, Fleet staff personnel, Government personnel, Shipyards, Logistics Support personnel and other stakeholders, in support of submarine cannibalizations. You will prioritize cannibalizations and generate appropriate authorization messages and interpret Casualty Response (CASREPS) messages for cannibalization processing. You will apply working knowledge of the Navy's Cannibalization process, procedures, tracking, data base management, and administrative functions. You will collaborate with Fleet personnel, decision makers, stakeholders, and experts in different fields to resolve electronic cannibalization program and cannibalization discrepancies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service, or in the public or private sector providing oversight in the planning and management of life-cycle logistics operations for an undersea project or program. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
